It took me a while to make my way through this one. I started it late last winter, and I just can’t handle working on afghans during the summer. But the weather turned cold and I finally felt like picking it back up again.
What You Need
- 2 balls of Bernat Cozy Style or Red Heart Comfort yarn in blue
- 2 balls of Bernat Cozy Style or Red Heart Comfort yarn in grey
- 5mm crochet hook
- darning needle
Stitches Used
- ch – chain
- dc – double crochet
- fpdc – front post double crochet
- bpdc – back post double crochet
- sk – skip
- st – stitch

Row 1 – dc in 4th ch from hook, and in each across, ch 2, turn
Row 2 – (sk turning ch)* FPDC in next 3, BPDC in next 3* repeat across, DC in last st, ch2, turn
Row 3 – Repeat Row 2
Row 4 – (sk turning ch) *BPDC in next 3 st, FPDC in next 3 st* repeat across, dc in last st. ch 2, turn
Row 5 – Repeat row 4
Row 6-13 – Repeat rows 2-5
