I was watching old episodes of Grey’s Anatomy while working on this afghan, and the episode with the heart in a box came on…..This is a cute couch throw to make up for Valentines Day, and it will look great year round. Great to cuddle up with while binge-watching tv.
I wanted to make a smaller throw to go along the back of the couch, so this blanket came out to 38 1/2″ across and 45″ long, but it is easy to scale up if you want a bigger blanket.
If you would like a printable PDF of this pattern, you can find on here in my Etsy store.

Sew squares together in a grid pattern. I decided to do a border as well, 2 rows of single crochets all the way around, with 3 sc in each corner.
